The Narrative Story

Gerard Paynter, a highly regarded expert in corporate and government relations, founded Narrative Corporate Advisory to address the evolving needs of clients in an increasingly AI dominated world. The catalyst for this venture was a project initiated by a long-standing client seeking to enhance the usability of opinion polling data through artificial intelligence. Recognising the potential impact of AI on strategic decision-making, Gerard embraced the challenge, marking a significant expansion of his professional repertoire.

Embarking on the AI polling project project, Gerard and his team discovered a lack of external expertise in this specialised area. Undeterred, they assembled an in-house team of programmers, embarking on a journey of intensive learning in programming and database management. This hands-on approach led to the development of ‘Clancy,’ a proof-of-concept AI model designed to streamline the interpretation of polling data. Introduced to a select group of users before a state election, Clancy provided valuable insights and underwent several iterations, each enhancing its functionality and user experience.

The success of Clancy underscored the transformative potential of AI in augmenting professional capabilities. This experience inspired Gerard to establish Narrative Corporate Advisory, aiming to integrate AI solutions into corporate and government relations strategies. By leveraging AI, the firm empowers clients to optimise their operations, enabling professionals to focus on the most critical aspects of their roles. Narrative Corporate Advisory stands at the intersection of traditional expertise and technological innovation, guiding clients through the complexities of the modern landscape.
